MVA Conference

FAVA attending the 1st International Conference and Annual Meeting of Myanmar Veterinary Association, MVA, 2-3 February, 2014, Yangon, Myanmar

Dr. Shane Ryan, FAVA, President Elect and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Achariya Sailasuta, FAVA, Secretary General attended and gave the key note speaker, entitled “Potential of Veterinary Education and Profession Toward ASEAN 2015” in the “1st International Conference and Annual Meeting of Myanmar Veterinary Association”, MVA Annual Conference, during 2-3 February, 2014 at Myanmar Convention Center (MCC) Yangon, Myanmar. This is the first activity of MVA on the starting point collaborating with ASEAN veterinarians. The Minister of Agriculture and Livestock of Myanmar presided over the opening ceremony. There are about 200 participants which are the members of Myanmar Veterinary Association. The theme of the conference was focused on the strengthening the network of Veterinary profession among ASEAN countries to 2015.
