Equine Veterinarians Australia (EVA), a Special Interest Group of the Australian Veterinary Association(AVA), is now launching its inaugural On-line Continuing Education. The first Webinar is on 29th November, with the presenter being Dr Todd Booth, who was the Director of the Equine Hospital at Edinburgh University for six years. Dr Todd Booth qualified from UQ in 1989 and then worked in mixed species and equine practice in Australia before an internship in Equine surgery at Murdoch University in 1994. After 2 years travelling he took on a specialist equine surgery-training program and Masters degree at Liverpool University. He moved to Edinburgh University in 2000 where he became senior lecturer and Director of the Equine hospital. In 2006 he joined Morphettville Equine Clinic as a surgeon and director. Todd has published in both refereed journals and textbooks and his particular interest is in equine surgery and lameness. Todd has further postgraduate qualifications in Equine surgery, orthopaedics and business management and is an Australian, European and RCVS Recognised Specialist in Equine Surgery.
